My good friend, Anna McCullough is a crack forensic accountant by day and artist by night. On Wednesday night (tonight, August 19th) from 6 – 8 PM she is having an art showing at Get Coffee in Chamblee. You can get a sneak preview of her art on her website. I’m no art connoisseur. I am a poseur extraordinaire. But those who do (seem) to understand art tell me her work is quite good and the cafe itself is a nice venue in an area of Chamblee undergoing renewal. I’ll be there in the all-black outfit I used to wear to NY art shows when I was an investment banker. No beret, though.
Also, I will be playing in the Ravinia’s Got Talent portion of the Lance Armstrong LiveStrong Foundation fundraiser this Friday (August 21st) from 6-9 pm at The Ravinia Club. Tickets are $25 each and that unlimited drinks and food, I believe. I’ll be playing (and singing – yikes) two songs but you’ll have to come to see which ones! The popular vote carries heavy weight in the contest so come on out and support yours truly. I’m not above trying to stuff the audience with supporters. Heaven knows I need all I can get!
